Hi Query King,
1. Open Outlook and switch to your inbox.
2. Make sure the Home tab is selected.
3. Near the right side of the Ribbon you'll see a Find section; click Filter E-mail > Unread Mail.
or
you would type read:no in the search field and click the Search.
or

In Mail, on the Folder tab, in the New group, click New Search Folder.

Under Reading Mail, click Unread mail, and then click OK.

Open Outlook
See Right side top corner Filter Email Option.
Click Filter E-mail > Unread under Home tab.
